About me

Mary was born in Tennessee and grew up in Alabama with her family of nine.  She has been writing Christian music for more than forty years and credits her ability to the Lord Jesus Christ. She was saved at the age of fourteen, and it was then she began to write, sing, and play Christian music. When sharing her salvation testimony, she often says, ‘‘The Lord has put a new song in my heart even praise to my God.’’

Mary also enjoys writing short stories which include uplifting Bible verses and concluded with a delicious recipe.  These stories are filled with everyday situations whether good, bad, happy, or sad – but all with humor.  The collection of these stories is called the Kitchen Cupboard.

Mary and her husband, Mike, have three children and grandchildren. They have been serving as missionaries in Mexico City, Mexico since 2012. Mary enjoys playing the piano for church services, as well as teaching music both in the church and at a local girl’s orphanage.  When she has opportunity, she enjoys drawing and sharing chalk art presentations for lady’s conferences.

Mary’s desire is for the collection of her music, books, and materials to be a blessing to individuals and churches alike and for the Lord God to receive the glory for it all.

“The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.”– Psalms 28:7
