Biblical References: Isaiah 53
I am incredibly and eternally grateful for God’s great love to send his Son, Jesus Christ, to pay the price for man’s sin. The gift of salvation, but oh! The great price that Jesus Christ paid to suffer and die for sinful man. While reading Isaiah 53 one morning in my devotion, my heart was saddened for all the suffering Christ endured on the cross for me as a sinner and for all sinful man. I thank Him for saving and redeeming my wretched soul. It was after reading this passage that I wrote the words and music to “Lamb of God.”
